The "Master of Ceremonies" is the yautja warrior who will perform the rites and orcustrate the proceeding. In this text the Master of Ceremonies is often refereed to as the MoC.

The "Jehdin Seeker" is the initiate undergoing the ceremony. It is sometimes refereed to simply as the Seeker.

The "Sentries" are the two yautja warriors that escort the Jehdin Seeker to the alter and act as the keepers of order and traditional ceremony.

The term "gathered" is used to discribe all other yautja present at the ceremony but are not directly envovled in the proceedings.

This text uses "he", "him", and "his" in reference to all yautja participating in the ceremony. This is done for simplicity and is not meant to exclude female participation.

Section 2 : Ceremonial Preparations

Before the ceremony is to begin, the positions of "Master of Ceremonies" and "Sentries" must be chosen. Only blooded warriors may hold either of these positions.
The MoC, is usually either a mentor or teacher of the Jehdin Seeker, or the leader or representative of the clan that the Jehdin Seeker is a member of. This yautja is to be the one preforming the ceremony and reciting it's rites of passage.
The Sentries, for which there are traditionally two, are usually clan-mates or friends of the Jehdin Seeker. They are tasked with guiding the Jehdin Seeker through the steps of the ceremony, maintaining order, and upholding tradition.

The Master of Ceremonies needs only the wristblades to perform the blooding ceremony. The Sentries are required to carry the combistick(spear) for the entire ceremony, but are also required to posess a plasma-caster. The Jendin Seeker is allowed only wristblades and plasma-caster, but must bare only his wristblades during the ceremony. The yautja gathered, including the both the blooded and jehdin, are allowed only the wristblades, combistick, and plasma-casters, yet must bare only their wristblades during the ceremony.
